I've been asked to help someone find family from San Pedro Piedra Gorda, Cuauhtemoc, Zacatecas and I'm not familiar with it at all, any suggestions where it's located or if there are films from there? They are searching for their grandfather Carlos Vasquez, born abt 1901, mother is Juana Saucedo. That's all the information they have. The rest of this family is from Jerez Zacatecas Mexico.

Father: Mecedonio Vasquez b. abt. 1867
Mother: Juana Saucedo b. abt. 1870
Paternal grandparents: Carlos Vasquez and Crisanta Rivas
Maternal grandparents: Julian Saucedo and Cesaria Roman
Acta de nacimiento testigos: Pedro Herrera and Vicente Acevedo
As a young man Carlos Vasquez worked in the mines at La Mina Del Bote, Compania La Penoles in Zacatecas, Zacatecas Mexico.
Carlos Vasquez also worked as a servant for the Governor of Zacatecas, possibly in Zacatecas, Zacatecas Mexico.

Hi Linda, Cuauhtémoc is really close, east of Jérez and just north of Aguascalientes.
Its possible their ancestors traveled from there to Jérez back and forth, they're pretty close
to each other. As for films it seems people from Cuaté went to San Pedro to get baptized
there are only 2 civil registration films which I strongly recomend them to view first since its usually the easiest to read
