There is a son of Juan Gonzalez de Hermosillo and Ana Gonzalez Florida that uses the name Pedro Gutierrez de HErmosillo. I'm not sure if it's the same as yours but it does tell you that there were descendants of the Gonzalez de Hermosillo's that use the name Pedro Gutierrez. I'm not sure when your Pedro was born but this Pedro Gutierrez de Hermosillo would have been born before 1666. you can find see him here:
